Express Entry

Express Entry

Canada's flagship immigration system for skilled workers. Get your profile assessed and receive an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence.

Whatis Express Entry?

Express Entry is the primary pathway for skilled foreign nationals to obtain Canadian permanent residence. Launched in 2015, it manages three federal economic immigration programs and PNP streams aligned to it. Candidates create an online profile and are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

IRCC holds regular draws and issues Invitations to Apply (ITA) to the highest-ranking candidates. Once invited, you have 60 days to submit a complete application. Our expert consultants help you maximize your CRS score and navigate every step of the process.

  • CLB 7 or higher in English or French
  • Educational credential assessment
  • Minimum score of 67/100 points on the selection grid

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents. It rewards those who already know Canada's labour market and society.

  • Meet the job requirements for that skilled trade set out in the NOC

  • Receive a Notification of Interest from a province
  • Apply for provincial nomination within the time limit

Key Requirements

  • Maintain an active Express Entry profile
  • Monitor draw results on the IRCC website
  • Be prepared to submit a complete application within 60 days of receiving an ITA
  • Keep your profile up-to-date to maximize your CRS score
